Homemade ice cream

Create a taste of childhood and joy with these three very simple ice cream recipes. Two of them are vegan friendly. Moreover, some of the recipes will be good for those of you who are trying to stick to a diet. Are you ready to experiment a bit? So, let's go...

Cream ice cream with condensed milk

You will need:

  • 500 ml of cream (30% fat or higher)
  • 250 g of condensed milk
  • 90 g sugar
  • 8-10 g (3/4 teaspoon) of vanilla extract

Instructions:

Whisk cream with sugar. Then add condensed milk and vanilla extract. Leave the mixture in the freezer. We suggest the vanilla extract, but you may use other flavoring for your own taste.

Fruit ice cream

You will need:

  • 300 g of bananas (instead of bananas you can take mango, strawberries, or raspberries)
  • 4 tablespoons of water
  • 5 g  or 1/2 of teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 8-10 g  or 3/4 of teaspoon of vanilla extract

Instructions:

Cut and freeze ripe bananas or other fruit or berries of your choice. Put the frozen fruits into the blender and add 4 tablespoons of water and vanilla extra. Put the mixture into the glass and sprinkle with cinnamon.

Coconut ice cream

You will need:

  • 250-300 ml of coconut cream
  • 50-60 g of sugar or 20-30 g of low calorie natural sweetener
  • 50 g of vanilla sugar or 20 g of low calorie natural sweetener
  • * 15-20 g or 3/4 of tablespoon of lemon juice
  • * 1/4 of teaspoon of salt

Instructions:

Whisk coconut cream, sugar and vanilla sugar, lemon juice and salt until smooth. For those of you, who are trying to stick to a diet, substitute sugar for a natural sweetener like stevia, erythritol, xylitol or monk fruit sweetener. Pour the mixture into a container and place in the freezer. Periodically remove the ice cream from the freezer to mix thoroughly. Do this every 2-3 hours. You may also add coconut flakes or cocoa powder -  you will get a delicate coconut-chocolate version. Before serving, keep the ice cream in the refrigerator for 10 minutes to let it melt and soften. You can serve it with fruits and berries.

Bon appetit!
